Default e-mail address

In my Verizon e-mail settings there is an option to set a default e-mail address; however, it will not let me enter another address. I want to be able to send e-mails from my Verizon Contacts but I don't want my Verizon email address to show. I have an email address with Google that I want to use. Nothing fishy about this. I'm an author and don't want my personal email available. Got any suggestions?

you have to use a verizon email address.

If you get a decent third party email client like windows mail,windows live or a newer version of outlook and setup your contact list then setup the safe list (tools>safe options )then the safe list tab

then use safe list option and delete junk mail you can control the spam.

I would recommend setting up an alternate email address with zoho mail - IT is free, you get 1 zoho address and much more storage space  than VZ offers (for all those rough drafts). Being web based  it has google integration a much more feature rich interface as well as the ability to manipulate your present VZ email.

You can not enter another email address.  But if you click on the drop down menu, there is probably a strange looking address in there.  Select it as your default from address.
