Deleting Large Volume of Emails and Setting up Automatic Deletes

How can I delete a large block of emails (35000) and how can I set up my mailbox to automatically delete emails older than a certain timeframe, say 90 days?

did you get an answer how to delete large amount of email?  I have 18,000 and 194 pages.  How can I do this without going page by page by page?
