Over the past week I have noticed ridiculous delays in receiving my emails. I have Verizon Fios, and use the Verizon/Yahoo interface on my computer and Yahoo app on my phone.
Some emails come in instantly (not many). Some come in a few minutes later, while some may take an hour, two hours, or several hours to come in.
Yahoo says to contact Verizon for help, even though it's their website. Anybody know how to remedy this?
I too am having the same problem. Emails postmarked as early at 10am this morning didn't arrive until after 5 this afternoon. Is Verizon or Yahoo experiencing a hacking or denial-of-service attack?

I would recommned unlinking Yahoo & VZN email accounts.
Just make sure you are using the latest parameters (the linked post is a bit dated)
