Email change

Had problems with email-did not have service for 5 days. Finally reached support and was told my email was now verizon.com not verizon.net and that I should notify all my contacts. Everything I see still seems to be .net and I am concerned about the accounts I have already notofied. Does anyone know if this changed really happened?

Hi - I normally do not post or read these forums often, but I am also having email issues via receiving in Outlook.

You will find many, many threads out there right now, and the majority are NOT fixed - and I truly do not believe you received the correct answer in the "verizon.com" info!  That is something VZ would truly notify - you typically see .com with their company/corporate items.  I would check with another contact before taking this at face value.

fyi - i used online chat today for over 1.5 hours with a rep that did the same changes i had tried, and in the end, told me there is nothing wrong with my account.  I am going to try another 800 number he gave me later (when i have an hour to kill!) and will see what happens.

for the other threads, here is an example, in case you have not seen them yet:

The couple of folks that tried something that worked has not yet worked for me 🙂

Thank you Nospam- I'm not very tech savvy but will definitely look into this further as even to me it seemed kind of strange that there wasn't any notification as I consider it a big deal!
