Email closing

I keep having problems with my email.  Whenever I press the enter key while typing the webpage that I am on closes.  I can usually refresh the screen but if the email I was typing wasn't saved in the drafts fold it's gone and I have to start all over.   Is anyone else having this problem and does anyone know how to fix it.  Also is there anyway to extend the time before the system automatically logs you out?

I have been having the same problem for at least two months.  Sometimes I can complete a reply and send it and sometimes I can't.  When it closes it generally closes everything I have open at the time.  I do not have this problem on my iphone.

There is no way to extend the timeout. I apologize for that. If its taking to long to get an email out, you can type it out first in Word or any other text document. You can also configure an email client on your computer to access all your Verizon emails. That option does not have a timeout.
