I have a MACBook and also an iPhone on which I use verizon email.  For the last 3 days, my email account has been sending 30-40 emails a day to people I don't know and I get a huge list of Delivery Failed emails.     How do I make this stop??

Apparently someone has hacked or gotten your email and password information to sent the emails.

I suggest you go in and change your password to your email account . This should fix your issue.
