Email spacing keeps being changed

I type an email and everything looks great.  Sometimes I type new and sometimes I cut and paste.  I didn't even know it was happening until I went in to look at some sent items and I was completely embassarred because my spacing was removed including spacing between words.  I've been using verizon email for years never with a problem.  I feel this issue started before summer and I have no idea how to fix.....I think I need to change my email account as not to look like I don't know how to space properly....HELP

Common design feature of email.  You have to use special formating to keep spacing, and sentences are ment to flow until paragraphs are hit.

Remember others are using different devices and window sizes to read your email.
