Emails disappear in 24 hours

Outlook Express doesn't allow me to send emails anymore. Switched to Verizon email page but emails received disappear within 24 hours after I read them.  How can I have them go to a "received" folder, not disappear?

Odds are that your Outlook Express is still pulling the messages from the server. You can go into OE and remove the account and/or give it false login info, or you can reset your webmail password and not change anything in OE. Either one should stop it from pulling your mail out of webmail.
