How do I know my emails are delivered?  I have spoken to one of my friends who says he has not received the emails I have sent.  When I had Outlook Express they would immediately let you know if your email was undeliverable.  I never get any such messages from Verizon.

Most of the time you don't.

Its possible to set the mail to request return receipts.  If you get one, the mail has been received.  However many people have the option to return receipts disabled for their email.

Note You CAN continue to use Outlook Express if that is your preferred email client.
