Get Verizon Fios

I was a Verizon customer for a year and I really enjoyed it, everything worked well for me. I recently had to cancel my Verizon subscription when I moved to a new apartment Complex. My new apartment complex doesn't get Verizon fios, so I wanted to know how I could get fios in my area. I live in Long Bach, CA. When I had Verizon I stayed in north long beach and the area code was 90805, now I live in 90804 which is still Long beach but I can't get Verizon fios, So I wanted to know is there any way I can get fios in my area or how long I would have to wait until my area gets it? Or is their a specific reason my building dosent get fios?
