I'm at a loss. All the FAQ answers seem to take me to non-existent pages. I can't find any area to create an email in the "My Verizon" section. I have Fios 100/100, internet only in NJ. Any pointers on where to create a verizon.net email?
Solved! Go to Correct Answer
January 11 was the cut off for new email addresses with Verizon. Existing customers that didn't create email and new customers will not get email service. New customers will be prompted to use a third party email provider during the activation process. The activation process was the pages you completed on activate.verizon.net to accept the terms of service.
I was wondering the same thing. I just recently signed up for FIOS internet service only. There is no option in profile-account settings to create an account. I did a live chat with someone from Verizon online and they told me that Verizon no longer provides email accounts but I find this hard to believe. Does anyone know the answer?
Not sure why you can't find a page to create a EMAIL ID. Used to be very obvious.
However they are in the middle of moving everyone to aol.com (while keeping their existing @verizon.net ids). If you don't care you can just go to aol.com and create an @aol.com userid. AOL is a Verizon company.
COULD BE DEPENDENT ON CUSTOMER LOCATION
Because of VZ to AOL Email migration ?
Sign into your account on www.verizon.net. Then, select "Profile" on the navigation bar. You'll see a section titled "Manage Sub Accounts" - click manage and follow the instructions.

This doesn't work. I got to the "mange subaccounts" and clicked on "manage". It then asks to login again. When I enter the password it goes to the page where the url at the bottom left blinks and it doesn't connect.
Zara, try a different browser or PC
