Is there an email archiving capability?

I am looking for a solution to storing emails rather than "keep forever" online or deleting.

You might look into getting a pop3 client setup, such as Outlook, Mac Mail, Thunderbird, etc. It would allow you to download your mail to your pc. If your local copy became corrupted or was lost, however, you would not be able to retrieve the messages from Verizon unless you left a copy on the server.
