I would like to copy all my email to a different email address, how can I do that?

If I create an archive folder, how can I copy it to a flash drive and then use it in gmail?

You can do this using an email client.  If you have a Windows PC, use a program like Outlook Express or Windows Live Mail.  There are lots of other choices, too.  Configure the client to access your Verizon.net email account.  It will pull all the Verizon.net email into it's database using a POP connection to Verizon.  Depending on how you configure it, it may also delete all the email from the Verizon server.  If this happens, the email will only exist on your computer.

Then, add a gmail account to the email client.  It should be configured to connect to Google using IMAP.  Then, you can simple create a folder on your Gmail account and use drag-and-drop to move whatever email you want there.

Enjoy.
