Mailwasher Settings

I use Mailwasher before I open my Verizon email accounts so I can quickly get rid of unwanted emails. I've changed the settings (Port #s, SSL, etc.) in Mailwasher and now the emails go directly to my Mozilla Thunderbird program, bypassing Mailwasher. How can I change this?.
