Over the last couple of weeks or so (probably since they "upgraded" the email), my ciontacts say that emails are randomly bouncing back as undeliverable to me. They will then re-send it and it may or may not go through. Total crap!! I'm missing important emails. Anyone else having this problem?
What is the reason listed in the bounceback message?
Message is undeliverable.
Further info--it appears to be messages coming from yahoo.com emails.
"Message is undeliverable."
That's not a complete message and is just the result. If someone sends you a email and it comes back as undeliverable it will indcate a reason why it is undeliverable.
Examples:
User account is over quota
Email is too large
Account does not exist
To get to the root of the problem, we need the COMPLETE Failed Mail message.
Here it is Dave--looks like it's verizon's crappy "upgraded" email service.
Sorry, we were unable to deliver your message to the following address.
(I deleted my eamil address--Laurie)

I have two more from the last 24 hours that say the same thing:
Mail server for "verizon.net" unreachable for too long
All are coming from yahoo.com emails if that has any bearing on the issue.
i have the same problem. it just started.
Spud--Also from yahoo.com or some other address?
If it's only yahoo.com addresses that are having this issue, then I would suggest a double approach. It looks like their mail servers aren't getting along. It happens sometimes. You report this to Verizon support, making sure that they get the full header you provided there. Have your contacts report the issue to Yahoo, also providing the header info.
Hopefully that will get Verizon and Yahoo on the same page and working together to resolve the issue.
