My e-mail using windows mail is now snail slow

I received an e-mail from verizon regarding changes to the program but only after I had modified my anti-virus/spyware programs assuming I had a conflict causing the problem. The message has nysteriously disappeared from my inbox and I have no idea what changes I need to make to my e-mail settings to resolve the problem.

You have to change your incoming port to 995 and change outgoing port to 465 with both having SSL checked.
