I am starting to receive spam advertisements with my email address as the SENDER. It is also in the SUBJECT along with description of product. I also still have the same problem with my Yahoo email account for which started a while back ago. Changing my passwords does not stop this problem. My Anti-virus program does not cure this problem.
Just because the sender shows as you, doesn't mean your account has been compromised. It is easy to change what a person sees as the "senders name/address" as your looking at it in your inbox. Its a common trick of spammers to get people to open the spam because they are curious because it has their name/email address on it. I doubt your account has been hacked, but you have already changed your PW which is the best thing you can do to be on the safe side.
