My Taekwondo class sends out class mails from a google groups account which I don't receive. The lady at the center told me that she has had other Verizon customers that have had issues with this. I have seen other reported instances on the Internet where gmail had inidicated that they believe the problem to be on the Verizon side.
Ask the sender to email you directly, if she is using a distribution list this could be the issue. Does the sender get a bounce back message when they try to email you now?
Welcome to the forum!
Is she a verizon.net user or some other ISP's.
Note Verizon's policy. Others may have similar policies. The 100 limit is fairly standard and often results in no error message (some software at least warns you, but most servers don't).
Many small groups use google or yahoo groups to communicate with their members. I am not sure how google and yahoo actually send out the mails, but the group mail features have been around for over a decade. I use a yahoo group to communicate with members of our troop (different problem). I recently had a lady with a comcast address complain that she wasn't getting her group invite. When she switched to a gmail account, she got her invite. My Taekwondo lady also suggested switching to a gmail address because she had trouble with verizon and comcast addresses. I think the verizon spam detectors sometimes block mails originating from groups.
