Outage in PA?

Email is down, DSL server is intermittent (kudos if this goes through), email is now pw protected and they changed my pw & pet's name. Top it off with the Verizon help desk @1-800-567-6789 drops your call to dead silence after going through the prompts.

Anyone else having problems? Any timeframe for repair?

Had some email problems in my area in state of Illinois but from these boards that was a very widespread affecting many states.  My suspisions is that alot of these outages and such is Verizon offloading us unfortunate enough to live in the rural areas they no longer plan to or want to serve.  Looks like it seems to be affecting their entire networks and not just resticted to the 14 states they offloaded to Frontier.

They changed you password without notifying you?  I have never heard anyone doing that no matter where you log in, bank or what not.  If that's the case sounds like you had your computer hacked into by someone.  Mary

I have no channels above 49.  Anyone else experiencing this type of outage?  Verizon doesn't even tell us anything and getting through to support is impossible.  One hour and 15 minutes on hold!!

I am in Buffalo NY and was out with a friend today that has fios and her TV's are not working.  Started yesterday she said and she has no clue what's going on.  One TV was fine and one was only getting the local channels like ABC, CBS and NBC and now today she said they are both out.  Wonder if something is going on that's wide spread.  Mary!
