Since we were required to change our outgoing settings ( by Verizon) I have periodic (several times each day) problems sending email. The send-receive message appears, and appears to complete the process, but one or more emails are still in the "out box". If I hit send again, they usually are still there. Sometimes I get an error code that says "Outgoing SMTP server does not support SSL - secure conditions " contact your service provider. I have checked with online chat and they confirmed that my settings are correct. Anyone else having trouble or a solution ?

What Operating System and Email client are you using?
IF you use the VZ webmail interface does the issue persist?

I principally use WIndows 7, with Outlook 2003. When using my tablet, with Win 8 and web based email (verizon.net), I do not have the problem.

http://daggle.com/gmail-error-0x800ccc7d-in-outlook-2003-59 There are a flock of proposed solutions, I know this link is for Gmail but one or a combination of few may solve it. Just be sure to use the latest verizon settings.
