Password changed, but can only sign on using webmail.verizon.com

A couple of my email accounts were hacked and I changed the passwords of all of my accounts. Now these passwords only work when I sign on from webmail.verizon.com, when I try to sign in from login.yahoo.com it is requiring the old passwords. The hacked accounts had their passwords changed, so I am unable to access them at all from login.yahoo.com. How do I get them to sync?
