Is there any way to do this?
I cant do it with your email.
Any suggestions. I capture the screen and then hit paste and nothing happens. It works in MS Outlook, but not in
verizon email.

Yeah, i do the sizing before i paste. Using Greenshot, you size it exactly as u want and then clip real fast. It is a great tool. Then i just drop to verizon mail. It doesnt work though. I need MS Outlook to make the screenshots work with a tiny amount of steps.
I dont want to be saving as a jpg and then finding that file and copying and pasting that. I tried that anyway and didnt paste into Verizon mail (in Google Chrome). Paste is not bold when i try to paste it in the verizon mail compose area.
It will be quick and fast with Outlook and Outlook is much better anyway. Thanks for trying though.
Assuming when you say "your email" you mean Verizon webmail, not AOL Mail, use Ctl-V, works for me (at least it did, but I am now migrated to AOL Mail and cannot test on Verizon webmail any more).

are you using windows? i capture screenshot, then open "paint" , where i paste it and then save as .jpg. then use as attachment in email......i too cannot now verify this as i have been migrated to aol email also....lemme know , k? good luck
Yes I am using Windows. I use a screensaver called PicPick and have it set to automatically save captures as a .jpg. I just did that on Windows 7 Pro with FireFox, went to AOL Mail and created an email, used Ctl-V to save the image, sent the email to myself, picture came through just fine in the body of the email. And that is the same procedure I used on Verizon email.
What are you using to capture the screen? I just now used the Windows Snipping Tool and saved the capture directly from there as a .jpg, again worked just fine, no need to use Paint or any other tool.
So Ctl-V works for me on both Verizon email and AOL Mail.
Does this help?

sorry, justin, my question about windows was for gcville....so gcville, if u use windows u could try this, ...to clear up my underexplained post, i use the "print screen" key on my keyboard to capture the entire screen or the "alt" key +the "print screen" key to capture just the active window......then in "paint" i hit "edit" , "paste" ......then save to jpg file.... this works with text or images (what ever you see on screen is turned into an image)......but i think u want a simple "copy" from source, then "paste" directly into body of email.....and i'm guessing you rightclick the image you want . then select copy, ...then in body of email you are composing you rightclick and select "paste"(for outlook) ?.......but in vz webmail, when you try the same thing,(you rightclick in the body of the email you are composing), "copy" is not one of the choices? or is greyed out and not selectable? hopefully someone with vz webmail still will answer and clear it up with a simple solution...good luck!
Yes, i meant into verizon webmail.
I do a screen shot and then ctrl v and nothing pastes.
I can only paste in if i can select the words and copy and paste. Screen shots dont paste in.
Thanks. Yes, i know about this process. It takes too long though. Was hoping for a faster solution. I guess there is none. That is a shame. Need to quick screenshot and paste. I guess i need to buy MS OFFICE and get Outlook.
I am using Green shot. I prefer that to the snipping tool because it is one press of a button. I can try the snipping tool again tonight when i get home, but i dont think that pasted into my verizon webmail either.
I tried everything and none worked.
I did a screen shot and tried to then paste to verizon mail and doesnt work.
Only way to get it to paste is to copy the words with the mouse and then paste in.
Screen shots dont work with the verizon mail for some reason.
There is no option to copy the image. it is a webpage that shows various scenarios of the ncaa tournament pool i am in. cant right click and copy and i cannot drag and copy the words. So I used Greenshot to capture and paste. WHen i paste , nothing happens with verizon mail. With Outlook , it pastes. Problem is that my home pc does not have Outlook yet. ms office is expensive.

Well I don't know what to tell you then. But a quick question: how are you doing the "screen shot"? Using the Print Screen button, the Snipping Tool, or something else? If you are using the Print Screen button, try the Snipping Tool and see if that will work, it is far more flexible and will automatically save stuff as a PDF, you can then copy the PDF and Ctl-V that, I am confident that will still work. But, since I am now on AOL Mail I cannot verify whether Verizon email has changed, I can't believe it has, but who knows, Verizon sometimes does mysterious things.
Sorry.....
