People are getting emails I did not send

Several times a day for the last few days everyone on my contact list gets emails that I did not send.  I have scanned my computer several times and have changed my password but it is still happening.  Any help would be appreciatted since getting a person on Verizon Customer Support is impossible!

roboken first of all  i'm assuming you said you scan your computer you did a virus scan correct? second are those emails coming from the post master? please explain who is sending the emails.
