Port settings email

I have Verizon email and use a Mac. I use Mail to get my email from multiple addresses (2 verizon.net, 2 gmail, 1 yahoo) into one inbox.
Back when the emails started coming about changing to the pop and smtp servers, I changed the settings for all accounts. I am still getting the "change your settings" email.
Is Verizon just being repetitive or I am supposed to change these settings somewhere else? Btw, the settings have also been changed on my iPhone.
