Retaining Email address Question

I have decided to disconnect from my Verizon DSL service and go to cable. I also have Verizon's wireless service for my smartphone and use the same email address I"ve had using VZ DSL service. My question is if I do have the DSL service disconnected, will I loose my Verizon.net email address that I use with my VZ wireless service?

If you start looking using the below link, you will eventually find many posts and answers on how this is done.  It's a fairly common request.  One thing: make sure that you arrange to retain the email address prior to discontinuing DSL service, or you will be out of luck.
