Recently I started getting fairly frequent errors when sending an email message via Windows Live Mail. The error is:
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.
Subject 'Re: xxx'
Server: 'smtp.verizon.net'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 465
Secure(SSL): Yes
Whenver I get the error if I simply resend the message it always goes through the second time.
I'm running Windows 7 (x64) SP1, Microsoft Security Essentials, and a Actiontec Rev I router on FiOS 75/35 plan.
Might anyone have a suggestion what's causing this problem?
Thanks in advance.
I am getting 0x800CCC0F error intermittently in Windows Live Mail. I checked all the account setting and thery are correct.
Not sure when you tried it, but the servers is not working at the moment. In fact the DNS search using OpenDNS currently cannot find it.
