Sending emails

I just got an iPad Pro and I can receive emails, but cannot send them. I can using the aol app only

Just sent message from iPhone Se iOS 11.2.1 (up to date ) using AOL for Mobile Ver 4.8.11.0

Received on my PC and iPad2. iOS 9.3.5 (up to date)

Please provide more information so someone can help you.
