I recently received a message from a friend in my Spam foler asking if my wife was receiving her messages. As I knew my wife had not received any messages lately from this friend, I checked her spam folder. It was empty. I checked it a few hours later, and found 3 messages, one from this friend. Now this message was 4 days old, so it makes no sense as to why it was not originaly there. I checked my wife's spam settings, and spam detector is turned off. However there were three messages in the spam folder, so obviously the detector is doing something, it is not off.
So why are e-mails ending up in the spam folder if span detector is off?
Why would a 4 day old message suddely show up in the spam folder?
Does the safe sender list really work?
Note my wifes account is a sub-account of mine.
If the Spam Detector is off entirely, I would check the Blocked Senders list and the Filters for the account.
There are no blocked senders and no filters
