Suspended Email Account

I had email this morning, now when I log in it says my account is suspended.  I dropped my DSL service this morning because I have a MiFI.  Do I need both in order to get my verizon.net email?

Only residential internet services such as DSL or FiOS come with an attached verizon.net address. If you want to keep your email address but no landline internet service, you should probably look into linking your old DSL account to Verizon Your Domain for $19.95/year.
