Just went from a Dell XP Professional desktop to an HP Pavilion g7 notebook(at the moment has Windows 7) & want to transfer all my OE address book to my Verizon email so that when I start to compose an outgoing msg it will just fill in the address after only a few key strokes...sounds lame but have no idea how to do it. HELP
I am sorry to hear about the problems with the email service. What you need to do is export your contact list in Outlook to a file. Once you have your contacts saved as a .csv file, you can go to the Verizon webmail and import your contact list to the webmail. Though if you are already using Outlook, I'm surprised you don't continue using it. You can configure outlook to work with your Verizon email. There's many resources online and step by step tutorials online you can use to set it up or if you need our assistance
TKS ANTHONY.
IT ALL STARTED WITH THE WK OF FIOS INSTALLATION & THEN A LIGHTENING STRIKE ON OUR HOME CAUSING A POWER SURGE& TOOK OUT MOST OF OUR ELECTRONICS INCL'D MY DELL XPS PC TOWER. I NOW DO NOT HAVE OUTLOOK ON THE NEW HP Pavilion g7, BUT I DO HAVE MY CONTACTS ON A CD & WILL DOWNLOAD & SAVE TO A .csv file & THEN IMPORT TO THE VERIZON WEBMAIL. I AM STILL IN THE LEARNING STAGES WITH THE HP NOTEBOOK & FIOS...and having a heck of a time...I AM REALLY FRUSTRATED.
SO, TKS AGAIN FOR YOUR HELP & HOPE IT ALL WOKS OUT.
