Unable to login (remote from another of my PCs) to MyVerizon to check email?

I can not gain web access from another PC Browser to the VZ web client email server.  However, messages between my PC email client (Thunderbird) and the outgoing / incoming SMTP servers (Verizon FIOS service in Florida) are all working as expected.    Additional data points:  I get the same error message from both IE 8 and Firefox 19.  My Florida FIOS service is currently on vacation suspend just in case this helps in the diagnosis.

When prompted for my login (part of the web email client authentication routine) I get a  nonsensical message about Oracle OpenSSO session upgrade failure since user id's does not match (pretty awful grammar BTW)

Has anyone else had this occur?
