Very unhappy with Move to AOL.. Tons of ads. Have to pay extra to have them removed. Emails going to spam folder that are legit. Verizon was so much better.
Might just start looking into other providers if Verizon doesn't fix the issue as I understand they bought AOL and are making business decisions to combine services. Don't damage customer relationships in the process when we pay a bundle already.
In general the spam filter is better a AOL. I had just as many non-spam messages thought to be spam with Verizon as with AOL. Both allow you to mark them as non-spam. You can setup a rule to make them forward MOST such messages in the future, and often just the act of setting them as non-spam will make them not not go there in the future.
Myself I rarely see the ads, because I don't use the WEBMAIL as my primary access. Getting the messages with Thunderbird on my pc, and with my smartphone's mail app.
