I'm in need of assistance from the Verizon e-mail team. I had a Verizon/Yahoo sub-account hacked and found it was sending out spam. Since it was a seldom used account I deleted it which should solve the problem there. I still have a primary account that I spent 2+ hours online trying to change the password. I wanted to change it so it would be more difficult to hack.
From what I can gather from this forum, that's not going to happen.
I want to unlink both Yahoo e-mail and portal from my Verizon e-mail.
Please let me know how I can or who can accomplish this.
Best Regards,
Littlejohn52,
You don't need to unlink the account to resolve this. If you go to verizon.net and click on accounts, you will see Profile on the left hand side from there you should see account settings click manage. From there you will see Change password and that should take care of the more complex pw without having to change the yahoo experience
Thanks,
Todd
