Have been having continual problems with our verizon internet going off. This seems to happen every few months. So tired of it and were I live we can only get Basic 1mph. So slow, that's when it is working.
Now the question - If we switch to another carrier other than Verizon van we keep our Verizon.net email address which we have had for 20+ years? Or do we have to get a whole new address?
Any answers will be appreciated. Thanks.
I have been having the same issue...internet service is spotty ALL the time, but worse in the last 4-6 months. Really stinks when you have to do mandatory 'work at home' stuff! The reason I have not changed is because, like you, my email address has been around for so long and it was my understanding that it would no longer be active if I change providers.
It would be nice if someone from the company were monitoring this to tell us for sure. I find I sometimes get very different answers depending on who I get on the phone at customer service or live chat.
you can keep your email address.. just ask customer support and sign up for a program before disconnecting the service.
