Verizon Fios cycles through security questions

I've been trying to change a password. Did so and got to the "new" security questions, image etc. Each time I complete the page, I get a sign in page, enter the userid, then the password, and I'm right back to the security questions page as though I haven't reset the password. Once or twice, I got to a Verizon Wireless page with an error message that the page I was requesting (Verizon Fios) under the userid I had changed is not available. I am able to access that page using a different userid. I guess I found another of Verion's rat holes with no escape.
