My Verizon email account was hacked recently. My account has been sending out Viagra and Fat Pill emails to all of my contacts. I want to change my Verizon email account password. I've contacted Verizon through the {edited for privacy} phone number multiple times without any resolution. I've also setup at least 5 chat sessions without any resolution.
Each time, the technical support person guides me to changing my "My Verizon" password which is not connected to my Verizon/Yahoo email portal. This is getting frustrating, I want to change my email password not my "My Verizon" password. These systems apparently do not talk to each other.
I've searched the internet and this seems to be a known problem for other people as well. I need a Verizon email specialist to contact me to resolve this issue. Please help me.......

What an absolute joke. Am I the only person having this problem? Please have someone from Verizon contact me that has knowledge with Verizon/Yahoo email systems. The last specialist (again) had me change my Verizon FIOS password. This has nothing to do with my Verizon/Yahoo email acount.

Yes, but they were no help. I've had at least 10 Verizon specialist that have made me change my verizon password but it is not connected to the verizon/yahoo email system. This is getting very frustrating. Is the Verizon/yahoo mail server down now? What an absolute joke.....
