Hi all,
When I attempt to begin the process of migrating my @verizon.net email to AOL via this site (webmail.verizon.com) it states the following "Your account is locked. To unlock your account you will need to verify additional items."
However, when I enter my User ID and Zip Code it states: "We're sorry. Your entry does not match our records. Please try again."
I've also attempted the link "Forgot your User ID?" and using my @verizon.net email and ZIP code results "We're sorry. Your entry does not match our records. Please try again."
I understand my migration attempt is belated however from this site: AOL Mail for Verizon Customers help page in their FAQ it states: "If you haven't migrated your verizon.net email to AOL Mail before April 1, 2016, you will still have 6 months to migrate your email if you remember your password."
How do I go about unlocking my account so I can start the migration process?
Please advise!
B.Rawls
You need to find another way to contact Verizon such as calling 1-800-verizon.
This forum is mostly peer to peer.
Thank for the reply tns2.
I tried using 1-800-verizon call center however I'm unable to get past the auto-attendent because it recognizes the fact that my account has been transferred to Frontier (California customer) and it ends the call when attempting enter my account number and/or home phone # previously serviced by Verizon.
In fact, this forum using a community ID is the only mechanism that is available to me since the website self-service, online chat, and the1-800-verizon keeps ending my assistance requests because it simply no longer recognizes that I, at least was, a Verizon customer.
Hence, I'm in a weird limbo hoping that one of VZ CSR that monitors these forums can assist and unlock my Verizon USER ID so I can begin to Migrate my @verizon.net email to AOL.
Don't enter your account number. You will be able to get to support.
