Verizon.net email on blackberry

I have successfully been checking my verizon.net email via the blackberry browser for over 2 years.  Within the last two days, I cannot access webmail and receive error "HTTP 400: Bad Request - The server could not understand tha page request or was unable to process it for some reason."  When I look at the details, it says that the connection was refused at wapp.verizon.net:80.

I went so far as to install Opera mini thinking maybe it was a problem with the blackberry browser.  I am able to log into verizon.net but then when I click on the email icon I get the error that the wapp.verizon.net portal is currently unavailable.

I'd appreciate any insight or suggestions.  Thanks!
