Verizon outgoing email for IPad

I am having problems sending email from my IPad. I receive it fine.

What is the set up for outgoing email?

That depends on whether your account is a regular Verizon account (use outgoing.verizon.net) or a Yahoo partnered account (use outgoing.yahoo.verizon.net).

In both cases you'll need to authenticate with the same credentials you use for the incoming server.

Knowing what error you are getting might also help diagnose the problem.

I use 2 email boxes from verizon on my I pad. One works fine. On the other I receive but. I cannot send. My guess is there is an error in my outgoing. I have deleted the whole setup and redid setup but it still does not work. Seems like the I pad remembers the error when I reset. So indeed correct settings for outgoing. I have iPad 2 with 16g. HELP!!!
