My Dell got taken over by FBI Cybercrime and wanted $300 sent to paypal.
Could not access anything - even Task Mgr wouldn't work
Had to log in using secondary user account - popped in my Norton CD and it detected some nasty files.
Downloaded power eraser and it removed 6 exe files.
Did Intelligent updater for Norton and now all is fine.
What's up?

I would run a Malware Detector as well as your AV program in Windows Safe Mode (F8 after power on) just to be sure all traces are removed.
