This has been raised for years and I have never found an official answer from Verizon. Does anyone know if Verizon plans to offer IMAP in the forseeable future? POP3 just doesn't cut it anymore! I have been considering moving to a different ISP because of this.
All email accounts will eventually be moved fully to AOL. AOL supports IMAP. To date they are concentrating on the three states (California, Florida and Texas) as they will be Frontier customers as of the end of this month.
