Yahoo advertising on my email list

Starting this week whenever I open my verizon email there is an ad at the top of my list of emails as if it were an email. The opt outs don't seem to work as it keeps coming back.  It states that it is yahoo sending them, and it only seems to affect the Chrome browser. Please, how do I get rid of this? or do I get rid of yahoo and verizon mail?

I don't mind the ads off to the right, but atop of my list of emails.

Not only Chrome.  I did opt-outs on Chrome, IE, and Mozilla.  No matter what I do, I still have those **bleep** ads.  Actually - they disappeared for a couple days. This morning they are back.  When through the whole process again - still there. I am about to get rid of Verizon, just for this reason.  I pay for my verizon service and email. I don't expect to have unwanted ads.

This practice is so annoying it is beyond saying more!   I have switched to google mail!

These ads even go to personal folders.  Cannot be deleted completely unwanted also!

So far its only affecting my chrome, safari has not been infected yet.

It does say that the browsers cookie settings have a lot to do with it.

I too am ready to go to gmail. Not dealing with this crap from Yahoo.
