Recently I now have to go through the entire user name and passwork login process everytime I open my email. Is this something new with Verison security. I do not mind once a day but every time.

I do not have any problem staying logged into webmail, although I use an email client on my PC for nearly all of my Verizon email work (and highly recommend to everyone that they do that, there are no issues staying logged in, the emails are saved on our computer and are much less likely to get lost, you can access previously received emails without being on the web, it is easy to have multiple email address to send from if desired, you can easily mange any number of email accounts across multiple email services, etc.).
Several times a day I visit webmail to check for emails that may have been erroneously marked as Spam. When I open webmail and then don't go back to visit that page for some time (20-30 minutes maybe, sometimes hours), when I do go back I find a little popup asking if I want to continue being logged in: do you not see that pop-up? And if you do, does clicking on it not keep you logged in? It is my understanding that you absolutely should see the pop-up offering to keep you logged in, that that is part of the Verizon webmail design. If you do not see it, possibly it is a result of some setting in your browser/computer.
Edit: Here is the pop-up I see:

I agree. The process is now a big pain. You have to go two pages to login and no option to stay logged in. Ridiculous. I even had to login in again just to get into the "Contact us" page, which is, of course, the most cumbersome help page on the Net.
I want to stay login I have to sign in every time I go on
