email filter?

Does anyone know how I can find an email filter for Verizon email? Put it in my search engine and came up with ones for Gmail and others but I have an account on Verizon.net.  People say don't use the unsubscribe at the bottom because it only confirms that your email address is legit.  I believe that because I have done it several times and I am getting more and more crap (sorry).

Log into the webmail and check out settings.  Note however that things are migrating to AOL email.

PS: It worked before the migration to AOL and had to do nothing to them after the migration.
