Someone posted somewhere in another thread about a Eudora variation, that the settings where in a seperate file. Sorry don't know which file. Try some searches. Or try a new definition.
My suggestion is to switch to a newer / different email client. Although Eudora 1.0 OSE (the latest version) is still available for download nothing was done to since 2010 and by all means that project is dead. Give Thunderbird a try. I use it and are a former Eudora power user.
