all of a sudden tonight my verizon email account is getting major spam.
its saying its from postmaster@verizon.net and the subject is : delivery notice: delivery failed.
i've have received like 200 of these in the past hour. anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this.
i already tried to mark it as spam, its not working .
thanks.
getting spam.............300 now.........Same thing delivery failure......ok verizon you better fix this...well contract up in a week with this over charged poor quality service anyway...................
Me too. I think it started yesterday. I'm getting well over a hundred an hour of "delivery failed" in various forms. I had some 700 when I did my first download this morning.
And I've forwarded some of them to abuse@verizon.net . . . but no response.
I've forwarded to abuse@verizon.net four times, but I have only gotten boilerplate "do not reply" responses. Their customer service is notoriously bad; I'm learning that the hard way.

These are not "spam" in the traditional sense. They are legitimate messages from Verizon, saying messages sent from your address have failed. Change your password and run a virus scan if you aren't sending them.
Started in October with us verizon blocked us from sending and now they are unable to un block us. sugest u use gmail
second thought I think their e mail server are infected
