seeing all the names in an e-mail CC list

When I get an e-mail, which is CC'd to a list of let's say 6 names - I only see the first name on the cc list. When I hit reply to all, then I can see the list of 6 names. I have tried to find a e-mail setting that would allow me to see the full cc list upon receipt of an e-mail without having to do the extra step of hitting reply to all to see the other recipients' names. Any ideas? Verizon folks could not help me with this... Thanks.
