Good Morning,
I have a serious problem and need help. I have a computer software consulting business working with hospitals. My clients communicate with me mostly by emails to my verizon.net email address. My most important client is a hospital in New York (Northern Westchester Hospital www.nwhc.net) with whom I've been working for 11 years.
Starting about 10:30 in the morning on 4/5/16 all emails originating from this hospital are being marked as spam! I added the domain nwhc.net to my safe senders list, but all this does is allow the email to arrive in my inbox.
I get a spam error if I try to reply or forward these emails to any one orther than spamdetector.update@verizon.net. This is the email address that Verizon says to report this kind of problem. I have forwarded each email to this address. There instuctions say that within an hour they will correct the problem.
Not so.
I'm wondering if there are others from the hospital - doctors - sending important emails to patients and others that are getting caught up in verizon's misguided SPAM filter.
I've called verizon and talked to 4 different people. They are unable to help me.
Can anyone help?
Thank You,
Diane Fernald

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you.
Please go to your profile page here on the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
Under “My Support Cases” you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions.
To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe".
Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

The hospital email issue above has been resolved - I am now getting emails from nwhc.net and am able to reply. However, since that issue was resolved, I have been inundated wtih spam. I had thought that verizon corrected the issue (which affected more than just myself) but now I'm wondering if they just behind the scenes loosened up spam filtering for my email address, allowing the nwhc.net emails to pass through, but also allowing spam.
My spam detector is ON.
I tried to keep up with the domains sending the spam by entering them in the email filters to be sent to "spam detector folder". However I have maxed out on the 50 allowed filters.
I am now using the block senders list, but really, I am spending too much time on this.
Verizon, please advise.
