sync email over different devices

Does anyone know how to sync email over different devices?  If I open an email on my iPhone and delete it it still shows up in my inbox on my iPad or on my computer.  How do i get it to delete everywhere?

The only way to keep email from showing up in each of your various devices is to delete it from the server, before they connect to the server.  If they are set to download email automatically, then the  email has been downloaded to each internet connected device before it was deleted.  Plus the device has to be set to remove from server when downloaded.  Just deleting may not remove it from the server.

So the solution to your problem lies within the available settings of your devices and the programs you are using to read email.  If the capability exists, stop automatic download on all devices except the one you normally read email on.  I don't use iPhone or iPad so I can't provide a solution specific to them.
