verizon.net email through AT&T Uverse wifi connection

I subscribe to the Verizon My Domain service to retain my verizon.net IDs.  I have been sending and receiving pop/smtp email through AT&T Uverse wifi for almost two years.  I recentely moved my Uverse to a new address, and pop/smstp to verizon.net worked fine for about two weeks.  However, about two weeks ago access to the verizon.net servers failed (unable to reach server) using Uverse wifi and has not worked since.  I can still send/receive pop/smtp mail on 3G/4G and non-Uverse networks. The client configuration has not changed, and none of my wifi devices can ping pop.verizon.net or smtp.verizon.net.  AT&T support does not believe it is their issue.   Any ideas?
